Choice Not Compromise

Not Long Age, Hand gunners had to make a difficult trade-off: the legendary stopping power of the .45 ACP or the high magazine capacity or the 9mm. Para-Ordnance, however, refused toe compromise, In 1988, after years of design development, we marketed the very first high capacity .45 ACP receiver and magazine of M1911A1-type pistols. This was followed in 1990 bye P14-45, acclaimed as the world's first complete high magazine capacity .45 ACP pistol. Today, Para-Ordnance offers a full range of pistols in .45 ACP and .40 S&W, all built to uncompromising standards of strength, precision, accuracy and reliability, and all displaying the Circle P Logo.

The Difference Starts With The Receiver

Key to the revolutionary capabilities of the Para Ordnance pistol is the receiver assembly, designed to accommodate a high-capacity magazine with no perceptible feeling of added bulk. The new contoured grip absorbs felt recoil for easier handling and control. Wall thickness around the slide stop hole has been increased for extra strength Uninterrupted frame rails offer smoother, more reliable performance. Beveled magazine well and tapered magazine make reloading instinctive. The receiver is available in matted black aluminum alloy or steel.

Custom Details Are Standard

Look Closely and you'll see that the Para-Ordnance pistol is far more than simply a high -capacity M1911A1. The magazine catch is molded from space-age black polymer, negating magazine lacking notch wear and facilitating silent reloading. The barrel features a mirror-polished integral ramp for reliable feeding. This competition proven design also eliminated the case over expansion problems usually associated with throated barrels. Other built-in custom features include flared ejection port, 3-dot sight system, combat-style hammer, and contoured trigger guard. Check out any pistol bearing the Circle P Logo and you'll see...never before have so many performance featured been incorporated into one neat package.

High-visibility 3-dot sight system allows for quick target acquisition. Combat-style hammer quickens hammer fall for improved accuracy. Contoured trigger guard provides higher, tighter, more secure grip.

Today's 10-round capacity limit has made the choice of defensive pistols a lot easier. And 10+1 rounds of .45 ACP (full capacity of *12+1) beats 10+1 rounds of just about everything else, particularly when wrapped in a neat subcompact package like the P12-45. Here's the superior firepower of a .45, the highest capacity allowed be law, and the all-metal ageless reliability of John Browning's classic 1911 design. You could pay far more for a custom-built compact .45 with less capacity, but why compromise? Choose from matte black alloy or steel, duotone or bright stainless steel finish. Available in .40 S&W as the P14-40, with *14+1 shot capacity.
